Arthrostim Chiropractic Tool

Arthrostim is an adjusting tool made by IMPAC Inc. and is only available to board certified Chiropractors. The arthrostim tool delivers 12-14 beats per second, in line with the body’s low betasomatomotor rhythm, producing motion and removing joint restrictions in the specific joint segments being targeted. It enables Chiropractors to adjust their patients in different positions, ways, and through active ranges of motion.

Talking Chiropractic With Dr. Phil

Dynamic Chiropractic – April 9, 2012, Vol. 30, Issue 08

Talking Chiropractic With Dr. Phil

Dr. Fabrizio Mancini appears on popular daytime talk show to discuss chiropractic and the power of self-healing.

By Editorial Staff

On the morning of Feb. 23, 2012, history was made when Dr. Fabrizio Mancini, president of Parker University, was filmed for an episode of the “Dr. Phil” show at Paramount Studios in Hollywood, Calif. This was chiropractic’s first appearance on the popular daytime talk show, which is broadcast on 220 television stations across the U.S. and in more than 40 countries worldwide. Nearly 21 million viewers tune in weekly to hear the advice given by Dr. Phil McGraw, a clinical psychologist with 25 years in practice, and the show’s online presence is over 2 million unique viewers/followers per day.

The segment, which is scheduled to air on March 14, began with Dr. Phil introducing Dr. Mancini as his chiropractor for 14 years and author of the book The Power of Self-Healing: Unlock Your Natural Healing Potential in 21 Days! This introduction set the stage for Dr. Mancini to talk about his book and the concepts of chiropractic. He stated that “the only way to truly fulfill your life potential is to fulfill your health potential.” Dr. Mancini added that the difference between chiropractic and what he called the “sick care system” in the U.S. is that chiropractors “assume the patient is well, not sick.”

Dr. Phil reinforced this notion, telling viewers, “I got chiropractic treatment from you [Dr. Mancini] 2 or 3 times a week.” He went on to introduce his current personal chiropractor in Los Angeles, Dr. Patrick DeFazio, who was given an opportunity to talk more about chiropractic and how it can help relieve stresses on the body.

Dr. Phil with Dr. ManciniThe show took an interesting turn when a man named Joe was introduced and came out in a wheelchair. Joe was only 5 years old when a drunk driver crashed into the family car, killing his father and sister, leaving both his legs paralyzed. It was clear that Joe was still very hurt and angry about the accident, particularly toward the woman who had caused him and his family so much pain.

After hearing Joe’s story, Dr. Phil asked Dr. Mancini how he would approach Joe’s situation using the concepts from his book. Dr. Mancini talked about the importance of chiropractic care for Joe, as well as the need to forgive the drunk driver. (At this point, the conversation addressed Joe’s emotional and psychological issues, consistent with the typical focus of the program.)

As the show wound down, Dr. Phil thanked both Dr. Mancini and Dr. DeFazio for taking care of him over the years. He then thanked the audience and let them know they would each receive a copy of Dr. Mancini’s book, which elicited a huge cheer from the audience.

Dr. ManciniDr. Mancini outlines core elements of self-healing – physical, emotional and spiritual – on the “Dr. Phil” show. After the show, a number of people working on the set asked about how to find a local chiropractor or remarked how much they had learned about the value of chiropractic. This was in addition to the many members of the audience who talked about chiropractic and asked Dr. Mancini to autograph their copy of his book.

This was an important positive event for chiropractic. The audience heard about chiropractic, the wellness philosophy and that Dr. Phil sees his DC more than once a week. They were also taught that chiropractic can play a role in the health of everyone, including someone who is paralyzed. Once the show airs, a global audience will have the opportunity to learn about the power of chiropractic care.

Over the past nine years, the “Dr. Phil” show has received 21 Emmy nominations and won five PRISM Awards. In addition to generating more than 15,000 hours of television programming, Dr. Phil McGraw has authored six #1 New York Times best-sellers, published in 39 languages with more than 24 million copies in print.

Digital Foot Scan

See yourself from a different point of view.

Sometimes, your feet seem so far away, don’t they? After all, your smiles, sneezes, winks, those holes for your ear buds, that hand bringing you your first morning sip of coffee – all of the really important stuff seems to be at or near the top of you. Your feet are, well, way down there. But now, see yourself from a different point of view.

Your feet are your foundation. They support you whenever you stand, walk, or run. Foot instability can be the cause of many postural problems throughout your body. A bad hair day isn’t going to make your feet sore, but bad feet can cause aches and pains all over. We care about your feet. Chiropractic adjustments and Foot Levelers’ custom-made Spinal Pelvic Stabilizers — a unique form of in-shoe orthotics — have helped thousands of people bring their bodies back to a natural state of alignment.

Who Needs Foot Levelers’ Orthotics?

Even if your feet don’t hurt, they may be a major factor contributing to your health problems. A foot problem may be the cause of discomfort or pain in your leg, knee, hip, back, shoulder, or even your neck!

Take This Test

  • Do you stand or walk on hard surfaces for more than 4 hours daily?
  • Do you participate regularly in any physical sport (basketball, baseball, tennis, golf, bowling, etc.)?
  • Are you age 40 or over?
  • Have you had a prior injury to your knee, back, or neck?
  • Do your shoes wear unevenly?
  • Do you have joint pain while standing, walking, or running?
  • Is one of your legs shorter than the other?
  • Do you have knock knees or bow legs?
  • Do you have obvious foot problems (bunions, corns, flat feet, etc.)?
  • Do your feet “toe out” when you’re walking?

If you answered “yes” to any of the above, Foot Levelers’ custom-made, flexible orthotics may be part of the solution to your health problems.

Call us today to see how our Associate™ Platinum digital scanner can show you how your feet affect your postural status. See yourself from a different point of view.

Treating conditions associated with obesity with Chiropractic and Foot Care

It’s no secret that obesity is a growing problem– and according to the World Health Organization, more than 300 million people worldwide are overweight or obese. Along with other health complications associated with being overweight, such as heart disease and diabetes, the body and feet can also be negatively affected. But we can help! Chiropractic care along with the custom-made support of Spinal Pelvic Stabilizers can work to prevent and treat the conditions associated with obesity.

Extra weight applies more pressure on the feet and can cause the arches to collapse, leading to joint and back pain. The deterioration of the joints, also known as osteoarthritis, is the leading cause for knee and hip replacement surgery. These conditions can be prevented with the help of laser therapy and Spinal Pelvic Stabilizers from Foot Levelers.

Laser Therapy provides red and infrared photons to stimulate your cells and promote healing.  Swelling and inflammation are reduced and light energy is converted to biochemical energy, causing healing of damaged tendons, joints, and tissue.

Spinal Pelvic Stabilizers support all three arches of the foot and help align the feet, ankles, knees, hips and spine to provide a balanced foundation for the body. This custom-made postural support also helps to reduce back and joint pain. Stabilizers are an important adjunct to your care because they help your chiropractic adjustments hold longer, helping prolong your wellness.

When your feet and body feel better, you are more likely to be active!  It is difficult to exercise when your joints hurt.  A healthy diet and regular exercise are both important factors to help you lead a healthy lifestyle.   Along with regular adjustments, Clear Choice Chiropractic can treat your whole body to get you moving again.  Laser treatments can target osteoarthritis to reduce inflammation and pain. Health coaching can provide nutritional, dietary, and lifestyle counseling.

We can help you look good, feel good, and live your best life now!
